Matt Schatz, Playwright

Matt’s plays and musicals include A Wicked Soul In Cherry Hill (Geffen Playhouse,), An Untitled New Play By Justin Timberlake (City Theatre/Pittsburgh CLO, Broadway Licensing), The Door You Never Saw Before (Geffen Playhouse), The Burdens (The O'Neill, City Theatre, Urbanite Theatre, and others, published by TRW), and many others. Awards include the Edgerton New Play Award, the Kleban Prize in Musical Theatre, The ASCAP Foundation Harold Arlen Musical Theater Award, The Reva Shiner Comedy Award, and the New York Musical Festival Outstanding Lyrics Award. Also a screenwriter, Matt has worked on TV and film projects for Fox, USA, TBS, Warner Bros, CBS, EOne, Sony, and Lucasafilm. He's currently working on projects for AMC and Netflix. Matt lives in Los Angeles with his wife Jenna Hymes and their two daughters. 

Tom Detrinis, Director

Tom is thrilled to be working with InHouse on this special holiday project. A Christmas Carol is very near and dear to his heart and he thanks them and Matt for giving him the chance to play. Jamie Castro, Casting

Jamie is an Emmy-nominated casting director, has been casting for films and television for more than 18 years. Her impressive list of credits includes popular TV shows such as Grey's Anatomy, Scandal and Friday Night Lights, as well as acclaimed films like Frost/Nixon & Lone Survivor. She has been recognized for her work on the pilot episode of Inventing Anna. In addition to casting for major productions, Jamie enjoys collaborating with budding directors and filmmakers on indie features, short films & theatre. She is excited to be with InHouse Theatre as their in-house casting director.

Keri Safran, JB Roth

Keri is a dialect coach and was proud to serve as a SAG-AFTRA Strike Captain at Paramount. Recent TV: Blue Bloods, Hallmark's Mystic Christmas. Upcoming film Lake George with Shea Whigham & Carrie Coon. And yes, Keri is a Jewess playing a Jewess. More at @kerisafran and www.kerisafran.com

Brandon Scott, Fred

Brandon is an actor/musician and founding member of Los Angeles theater companies IAMA Theatre and Ammunition Theatre. He holds a B.F.A. in Theater from NYU. Brandon was recently on stage in Power of Sail (written by Paul Grellong, starring Bryan Cranston) at the Geffen Playhouse. Recent film: Dead for a Dollar directed by Walter Hill, starring Christoph Waltz, Willem Dafoe, and Rachel Brosnahan. TV: The Girls on the Bus (HBO Max), Dead to Me (Netflix), Goliath (Amazon), Guerrilla (Showtime), Grey’s Anatomy (ABC), This Is Us (NBC), 13 Reasons Why (Netflix). Brandon also creates music under his Pop-Soul alter ego Icarus V and his Hip Hop/Soul band Verbal & Icarus. He is excited to stir up the Christmas spirit with InHouse. @brandonoscott

Rob Welsh, Charles Dickens

This is Rob’s 4th play with InHouse as an actor. And he is elated to share the stage with Keri Safran and Brandon Scott under the brilliant directing of Tom DeTrinis and Artistic Producers, Beth Schmidt and Mark Jude Sullivan.

Matthew Brian Denman, Lighting Design

Matthew is a Los Angeles based lighting designer and photographer.  He has recently designed productions of Die, Mommie, Die! and Failure: A Love Story at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, Cabaret, Charm and Bootycandy (Ovation Award Nomination) at Celebration Theatre, and Niagara Falls (Stage Raw Award Nominee) at Theatre of Note.  Other productions include Corpus Christi, revolver, What's Wrong With Angry?, The Next Fairy Tale, [title of show], and Women Behind Bars.

Alexis Carrie, Costume Design

Alexis Carrie is a LA based costume designer and textile artist. Recent and upcoming film, television and theatrical credits include A Place of Bones (Goldrush Entertainment), Legacies Season 4 (Warner Brothers) What to Send Up When It Goes Down (Congo Square Theater) Untitled Baby Play (IAMA Theater).  Originally from Washington D.C, she has an MFA in Costume Design from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies in the Humanities from the University of Chicago. She is an alum of the Art Equity National Facilitator training and seeks to bring the practices of equity and inclusion to all her projects.  She is a proud founding member of First Floor Theater in Chicago.
