PodHouse Episode 7: A Mere Conception, Part 2

PodHouse presents part 2 of A Mere Conception, written, directed, and engineered by Marissa Flaxbart and featuring Elizabeth Schmidt and Mark Jude Sullivan.

Set entirely in a Las Vegas hotel room, A Mere Conception follows longtime platonic friends Rose and Abe. Now in their late 30s and living in different cities, the pair of habitual singles finds themselves in Sin City on the same weekend, celebrating other peoples’ impending nuptials. When the evening they set aside for catch-up time takes a hard turn, they find themselves in unexamined, anxiety-inducing territory that could stretch their friendship to its snapping point.

InHouse Theatre staged A Mere Conception in 2019 and the play was later adapted into a feature film, titled The Mirror Game, released in 2022.
